Member Benefits

The Chamber of Commerce gives businesses access to powerful local resources from offering networking events, promotional opportunities and publicity for your business to supporting businesses through legislative advocacy. We believe all businesses can benefit from membership; here are just a few of the member benefits we offer:

Developing Local Business Contacts: The Chamber of Commerce can put you in touch with contacts that could become new clients and customers.
Networking Mixers: Our monthly mixers are a perfect venue for providing "business-to-business" networking opportunities to establish new relationships and business contacts. Each month a Chamber member hosts an open house at their business, inviting attendees to a first-hand view of their facilities and products or services. This event is also open to the public.

Luncheons and Annual Events: Luncheon and events held throughout the year, such as the monthly Lunch, Learn & Network meetings, New Member Reception, Golden Acorn Community Awards Dinner, and the Chamber's Annual Board Installation. Events bring members together for both business and pleasure. These events are a great way to meet and work with the business owners in our community.
Committees Meetings: Participation in committee activities and working with others on major projects offers members additional opportunities to join professional business people, share interests and learn about how similar businesses can become a client or referral source.

Publicity for Your Business: Chamber membership will get your businesses name before the public and business community.
Membership Directory Listings: Members receive free listings in our Membership Directory. In addition to our annual community directory, we also have a "members only" roster which includes contact information for all our chamber members.
Newsletter Publicity: Our newsletter lists your business upon joining. Member promotion, including, announcing new products, services and advancements in the Member News section is also provided at no additional charge to our members.
Referrals: The Chamber receives thousands of requests each year for recommendations on goods or services to be purchased in the area. We refer only our Chamber members to these newcomers, visitors and area residents by using our membership database and our Membership Directory.

Promotion on Our Chamber Website: The Chamber's web site includes a listing of our entire membership, so individuals searching our business directory will be able to find you. If you all ready have a web site, the Chamber provides you a direct link from your member listing back to your site free of charge.
Direct Mail Promotion: The Chamber's mailing labels, available for purchase, can give you direct access to a prime audience of business prospects. This is a "members only" opportunity.
Advertising Opportunities: Send your message out to the entire business community through our newsletter, the Business Directory, a mailing insert or by displaying your business cards and brochures in our office.
