Friday, February 3: Free Preschool Activity Hour at the San Mateo County History Museum
The San Mateo County History Museum welcomes preschool children and their parents for a free activity hour. The craft program will focus on Chinese New Year and allow youngsters to make their own dragon crowns to take home. Afterwards museum staff will read the story This Next New Year, written by Janet S. Wong, to the children.
The Museum presents this activity hour as part of its “Free First Fridays of the Month” program, sponsored by AT&T and Safeway.
The San Mateo County History Museum is located at 2200 Broadway in downtown Redwood City. The Museum is open every day except Monday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. On Free First Fridays, there is no admission the entire day.
