On Saturday, March 27th, The San Mateo County Chapter of California Women Lead and the Commission on the Status of Women will sponsor"Campaign 101: The Basics of Running a First -Time Campaign for Elected Office," a free, half-day workshop on the basics of running for office in San Mateo County. Topics will include developing a campaign message, filing papers for city council, establishing a campaign committee, fundraising, working with the media, voter-targeting, and getting endorsements.
