Committees

Make a difference in our community, join a committee and see what can be accomplished by a group of like minded business professionals.  Joining a committee is a great way to network and get an insider's view of the Menlo Park Chamber of Commerce.  We hope that one or two will appeal to your interests and talents.

Ambassadors & Retention - the public relations arm of the Chamber. Involved in membership development through recruitment and retention programs, including ribbon cuttings and attendance at mixers and luncheons. Contacts each Chamber member at least once a year to inform them of upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and to update changes to their company profile.

Ambassadors' Marketing Team - identifies membership needs and develops benefits through programs such as member-to-member discounts, group insurance, long-distance calling plans and Internet services.

Community Affairs - the purpose of the Community Affairs Committee is to keep our members informed about issues that can affect their business.  They also foster and maintain a strong liaison with local, state, and federal government.  The CAC is your source for up-to-date information.

Events Planning - throughout the year we host special events that are designed to reach out to the community and get our message out there.  We have a variety of committees that plan everything from our annual awards dinner to our art and wine festival.

How to Join a Committee - Contact us about meeting dates and times, then just show up.  If you would like to speak to the committee’s chair before you decide, let us know and we will put you in contact with that person.  Call the Chamber at 650.325.2818 or you can e-mail us at info@menloparkchamber.com.  We look forward to your participation and getting to know about you and your company!
