Self-guided tours 10am-2pm Tuesday-Saturday Filoli is a 654-acre estate 30 miles south of San Francisco with magnificent gardens and a grand Georgian mansion where hundreds of rare flowers, plants and trees flourish. The name is from the Irish motto: “To Fight, To Love, To Live”, and is one of the few California country homes built in the early 1900s which remains intact in its original setting.
